See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Just three miles north of Lavenham this pub is set in the middle of a quiet village, with the church across the way. Serving lunch and dinner as well as traditional roasts all day on Sundays, the food menu is characterised by the use of British seasonal produce, sourced from local farms and niche suppliers including nearby Lavenham Butchers and day-boat fish from Leigh-on-Sea. House beer is brewed by owners own micro brewery in London. An extensive wine list sits alongside a beer selection voted for by pub regulars. The spacious outdoor garden provides alfresco dining and drinking opportunities for long leisurely lunches in the sun. The extensive grounds can also accommodate a marquee seating up to 200 guests for private functions. Smaller events are also welcomed at this traditional 15th Cent. village pub. Large, open bar with dart board & TV & cosy lounge with sofas plus heated conservatory. Small self-catering unit available for hire which can also be used on a bed & breakfast basis.
