Attractive flint faced building opened as a pub and shop in the late 1800’s and was sold by Greene King in 2014. A 120ft deep unrecorded well was discovered (safely we hope) during alterations in recent times and is now a feature beneath a grille in the entrance lobby. Classic back and front bars with food available and can be taken in either. Back bar is the public with games and conversation dominating, well-behaved dogs are allowed in here.
