The 28th East Anglian Beer and Cider Festival is over for another year
but the 2020 dates have now been anounced
The 29th Festival will take place at The Apex/Charter Square in Bury St Edmunds over four days Wed 22nd-25th April 2020.

BURY ST EDMUNDS Rail and Bus Station are both within easy walking distance of the festival

Abellio Greater Anglia provide an hourly link from Cambridge, Newmarket, Stowmarket, Needham Market and Ipswich. Connections to/from Norwich are available via Stowmarket. The last train in the eastbound direction departs at 23:29 and in the westbound direction at 21:56. A two hourly direct service operates from Peterborough, March and Ely. ‘Group Saver’ tickets offer affordable discounted travel for groups of three or more.

By Road
BURY ST EDMUNDS is well connected by the A14 from Newmarket, Cambridge, Ipswich, the Midlands and the North. Access from the South is via the M11 and A11. Local A roads connect with Norwich, Ipswich, Stowmarket, Diss, Thetford, Kings Lynn, Colchester, Sudbury and Haverhill.

Car parking in the town is plentiful. The nearest to the Festival is The Arc Car Park, known locally as the Old Cattle Market, conveniently located off The Parkway (southbound). The nearest long stay car park is located opposite, off The Parkway (northbound). For car parking by SAT NAV use the postcode IP33 3BA and follow the local car park signage. Taxi Services
Our preferred Taxi provider and Festival sponsor is A1 Cars. Their booking line phone number (01284 766777) is shown on your entrance wristband or book on line. Mention the Beer Festival when booking to receive a preferential service.

Other Taxi providers are available; these include Buzz Cars, Foxy Cars, First Stop Travel and Getaway Cars. The public taxi rank is located adjacent at the Corn Exchange a short walk towards the town centre from the Festival venue.

They come from all walks of life and give up their valuable time to make the event a success.
Without volunteers the beer festival would not take place
